Goodies for the Kids!

I found out on Monday that Michelle, the Executive Director of AWOP, is headed to Ethiopia again next week. I asked if I could “pretty please send a package to our kids”. Last time she went I didn’t have enough notice to get anything together and I felt bad that all they got was a print out of our picture.
So we rounded up some goodies – a shirt for each. A soccer ball for W-boy (w/ ball pump to reinflate), a jump rope for B-girl, a few pieces of candy, cross bracelets and a photo album. The album is what I’m most excited about. I included about 8 shots of our immediate family plus shots of the grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Plus a map of the United States, showing where Arizona was.
*Um, yeah, the animals didn’t make it in the bag in the end. Didn’t want to abuse my use of Michelle’s luggage space 
I hope this gives them a little better glimpse of our family and helps calm their nerves. I cannot begin to imagine what is going through their minds!
